In Binche, for one weekend, the Medieval Fair brings the Middle Ages back to life with a reconstructed camp and various demonstrations.
Discover the Middle Ages at the Binche Municipal Park in the company of knights and minstrels.
Program
A wide range of activities will add to the atmosphere:
- Kights fights
- Axe throwing
- Archery
- Weaving
- Craft market
- Medieval camps
- Guided tours of the town (Sunday from 2.30 pm)
900th anniversary
- Open doors to the Centre de la Dentelle
- Conferences on the history of the town of Binche and Freemasons
- Procession of the Ordre de Marie de Hongrie on the Grand-Place
- Procession at the Saint-Ursmer collegiate church
