For the first edition back in 1989, a mere five bands performed here, while today over a quarter of a million festival-goers arrive to listen to 250 artists performing at 8 different stages. Not quite Glastonbury, but the same spirit, with acts like Mark Ronson, De La Soul, Snoop Dogg and Damon Albarn.
Dour is love...
The next edition of the festival will offer an eclectic list of artists - stars, gems, up and rising musicians and singers, traditional ones. From rap to drum N bass, electro to reggae and hip-hop, there will be something for everyone.
