Hastière Children's Carnival offers the youngest of the town and elsewhere a unique and festive moment around folklore and traditions. On the program: procession, treats and cinema screening.
A Mardi Gras for children
Every year in February, the children's carnival procession enlivens the villages of Hastière-Lavaux and Hastière par-Delà. A hundred disguised children gather at 2 p.m. then walk through the nearby streets.
Then comes the traditional treat: pineapple waffles and hot chocolate.
The day ends with the projection of a movie on a big screen.
