Demo Forest, Bertrix Forest Fair, is one of the biggest event featuring real life demonstrations in Europe.
Organised in the Rossart forest in Bertrix, a 150 hectares site, Demo Forest gathers every year over 200 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors, many being professionals.
The aim is to bring awareness on how important our forests are nature and job wise.
Program
- 4.5 km trail on paved ways, featuring a wide range of species as well as an arboretum planted in 1914 and biological sites of interest
- 2 conferences/debates: how can we adapt our forests to climate change witth new species? How can we give value to the wood cut in Wallonia?
- 2 championships and a competition between arborists
- International draught horses’ competition
- 8 poles commented by experts
