The Durbuy History & Art Museum (DHAM) is hosting La Voie du Silence, the two-part exhibition of around a hundred works by Belgian artist André Sprumont: a double cultural event not to be missed in the province of Luxembourg.

About André Sprumont

André Sprumont was born in Andenne in 1938. Self-taught, he developed a passion for drawing and painting very early on then embarked on the path of lyrical and poetic abstraction. At the same time, he creates through drawing a figurative universe populated by strange and grotesque characters. He thus takes a look at the world where despair goes hand in hand with loneliness.

The artist has won several prizes and his works are represented in various museums, public and private collections, both in Belgium and abroad.

2 painting exhibitions in Durbuy

120 works from 1960 to today have been selected from the studio of the artist-painter for the event.

For the first part, 60 paintings can be discovered at the Durbuy History & Art Museum. A second part will open later to the public.
