The itinerary
This several das journey will take you between Brussels and Liège, North of the Meuse. The Hesbae region is known for its farming land and clear horizon.
Start the adventure in Hélécine and its famous castle, located in a 28 hectares estate. You will then cross the commune of Orp-Jauche, the Hainaut region then the stunning Geer Valley where you will find the Hollogne-Sur-Geer fortified mill. This splendid day out comes with nature reserves like the Paradis à Orp-le-Petit or Haut-Geer ones. Hikes in the region don't come with many steep slopes so is accessible to full beginners. Get ready to be amazed!
