Nestled in the former Royal Villa, the Spa Story exhibition retraces four centuries of thermal baths in Spa. In the former stables a second exhibition presents Spa, the pearl of the Ardennes, as the cradle of equestrian sport in Belgium.
A museum dedicated to Spa water
This permanent exhibition presents how Spa became the cradle of balneology through archive documents, videos and collections, among which:
- residence of the second Queen of the Belgians, Marie-Henriette, the Spa Town Museum presents the story of how Spa, unknown before the 16th century, gained international renown and can now claim UNESCO World Heritage status.
- a magnificent collection of "Jolités" or Bois de Spa, featuring pieces from the seventeenth century to the present day
- vintage posters, engravings and various objects evoking the activity of the oldest spa town in Europe.

- The Spa Horse Museum houses a large collection of horse-related objects, including carriages, a farriery...
- Children will love the visit thanks to its free discovery game and numerous activities organized throughout the year: Marmaille&Co, Heritage Days, Woodland Weekend...
- The Spa Horse Museum is only open the second weekend of the month
