The Gîte du pays de Charleroi can be described as a set of 3 flats within the same building in the town centre, each big enough for 2 guests. These lodgings are ideally located 5 minutes away from the railway station and tube, shops and restaurants.
Charleroi used to be one of the most important cities for coal in Wallonia. The name of the flats offer a reference to this past.

Nestled in a house dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, this gîte offers well equipped apartments: La Houille, Les Alpes Noires and Le Vertex.
Each flat includes:

Gîte La Houille
The gîte is at half level, at the back of the building. It was carefully designed, with modern hues framing the wooden floor beautifully. Its peaceful atmosphere and comfortable setting are sure to enchant you.

The gîte is only a few minutes from the Rive Gauche shopping centre. The theatre, restaurants, bars are 500 metres away.
